A contributor to The Huffington Post and a reviewer for USAToday, Eliot has been profiled in Newsweek, New York Magazine, the New York Post, WWD, and NPR's "Leonard Lopate Show." He was selected as one of the 2007 "Out 100," and as a fellow to the Sewanee Writers' Conference. His first novel, Glamorous Disasters (Simon & Schuster), became an international bestseller. His second novel, The New Kid (Simon & Schuster), was nominated for the Lambda Literary Award. He has most recently published a non-fiction work on the SAT (Gotham Books, Summer 2008), and a young adult novel (Scholastic, January 2009).
